SASKATOON – Sobeys has opened its doors to Saskatchewan’s second privately-owned liquor store in Saskatoon’s Stonebridge neighbourhood.
Located at 3130 Preston Avenue South, it’s the first liquor store Sobeys has opened in the province.
Sobeys Liquor will operate from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
The 10,000 square foot store features a 360 degree tasting bar, a walk-in cooler, along with an extensive selection of alcoholic beverages.
The provincial government selected three private liquor operators in 2013 to open four stores in Saskatchewan.
Sobeys will also operate a new store in northwest Regina.
