MONTREAL – NBA star Joel Anthony was back in his old stomping grounds in Montreal to host the Joel Anthony basketball camp.

About 50 kids between the ages of 6 and 12 attended the sports clinic, which took place at Dawson College.
The former Miami Heat player and current Boston Celtics forward showed the kids what it’s like to be a professional basketball player by leading them through a handful of training drills.
Anthony told Global News the clinic is his way of giving back to the church and the community where he grew up.
“For those that are basketball fans and even those that might be just getting into it, this is opportunity to get a chance to meet me and to be able to work with some very good coaches and to be able to develop their game.”
Coaches and players from Basketball Quebec was also there to give a helping hand.
