SASKATOON – United Airlines will be discontinuing direct flights between Saskatoon and Chicago starting Oct. 1.
In a statement, the company said its daily flights between the two cities did not meet expectations.

United will continue to offer direct flights to Denver.
Customers who have already booked tickets will be contacted by the company to re-book or receive a refund.
United also announced direct flights between Regina and Chicago will end on Oct. 25.
