HALIFAX – A man is recovering after being attacked in a Dartmouth parking lot last night.
Police officers working in the Primrose Street area found the 52-year-old man suffering from facial injuries.
The victim told police he was walking through the parking lot after making a purchase at a nearby pharmacy when someone asked him what he was carrying.
The man said the last thing he remembers is being struck in the face with something hard.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward.
