SASKATOON – A Warman family is reaching out to the public after sentimental fishing gear was stolen from two boys in Saskatchewan.

The family says the tackle boxes were stolen from the boys, aged 5 and 3, out of a boat Saturday night at Emma Lake.

One tackle box belonged to the pairs’ late grandfather, the other to their father when he was a child.

Now, the family is taking to social media asking anyone who knows where the gear is to drop it off at Fern’s Grocery store at Emma lake.
