Police investigating two overnight shootings in North Central

REGINA – Two men in their 20’s are in hospital recovering from gunshot wounds after two separate shootings in Regina on Tuesday morning.

At around 1 a.m. police found the first victim in the 1100 block of Cameron Street.

Then, a few minutes’ later police found another man also with gunshot wounds on the 1300 block of Garnet Street.

Both victims were transported to hospital and are in stable condition.

“The fact that they’re so close in area, and very similar, and very close in time frame leads police to believe that the incidents are related,” said Les Parker, media development officer with the Regina Police Service.

Regina police are asking anyone with information on the shootings to call police at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
