CALGARY- Police are searching for a treasured classic car, that was stolen from an elderly man over the weekend.
The red, 1962 Chevrolet Corvette was stolen from the 9600 block of Bonaventure Drive S.E., sometime between 7 p.m. on July 12 and 5 p.m. on July 13.

The convertible has a blacktop roof and red interior, and was parked in an outdoor lot and covered by a tarp. The doors were locked and there was a padlock, which was cut off and left behind by whoever stole it.

The 73-year-old owner has had the Corvette for more than 40 years.
