19-year-old suspect sought by Toronto Police in attempted murder case

TORONTO – Toronto Police are seeking a man in connection with a shooting in Toronto’s Little Italy neighbourhood Friday.

Police allege that Nerville Ferdinand, 19, of Toronto was visiting a home in the Bathurst and College area when he became involved in argument with another man inside the house.

Authorities allege that Ferdinand brandished a handgun and shot the man, who was rushed to the hospital.

Ferdinand is wanted on a charge of attempted murder.

He is described as a black male, 5’7″, 160 lbs, woith a short afro and brown eyes.

Ferdinand is considered armed and dangerous,and police are advising the public not to approach the suspect.
