VANCOUVER, B.C. — It was a stunning day to be out at Alta Lake, but many of the people there today weren’t relaxing. Scuba divers and dozens of volunteers on kayaks, canoes and even paddle boards fished out debris from the lake during the second annual “Great Lake Clean Up.” The best part — there was a lot less garbage in the water this year than last.
