Weather update: Wednesday July 9th 4pm
If you have an air conditioner and haven’t started it up yet this season, you probably will have to get it running this week.
Although a weak dry front crosses our region this evening, it’s so weak that it will be almost unnoticeable.
Temperatures will continue to be in the upper 20’s up to the mid 30’s for the Southern Interior, and as the next upper ridge pushes in and strengthens, some areas will even get to the upper 30’s this weekend.
Weather models are pointing to the development of an omega blocking pattern this weekend, resulting in a possible sustained hot and dry weather pattern for the next 5 to 7 days.
