An editorial in the August 2011 issue of French Vogue is raising questions for its use of a highly sexualized 10-year old model.
Preteen model Thylane Loubry Blondeau appears in the controversial editorial, which was guest-edited by American designer Tom Ford, alongside other young models wearing red lipstick, leopard-print stilettos, looking eerily adult.

While some have come to the defence of the editorial, saying it intentionally questions a cultural obsession with youth, others call the images disturbing.
“Everything about this 10-year-old seductively modelling in French Vogue is WRONG!” tweeted Felicity Harley on Friday morning.
If the fashion editorial was meant to raise questions, the one that has many talking as the August issue hit newsstands is “how young is too young?”
