TORONTO — Taylor Swift announced Wednesday she has a beloved new companion.
“Meet Olivia Benson,” Swift tweeted with a link to an Instagram photo of an adorable kitten.
The pure white feline is named for Mariska Hargitay’s character on Law & Order: SVU.

Swift, 24, has said she is a fan of the crime drama series.
Olivia is presumably a furry friend for Swift’s cat Meredith, adopted in 2011 and named for a character on Grey’s Anatomy.
