2014 World Cup group stage standings

ABOVE: Which countries made it through to the knockout stage? 

The 32 teams taking part in 2014 FIFA World Cup are divided into eight groups of four. National sides are divided into groups by seeding and a draw that took place on Dec. 6, 2013. The host country, Brazil, is seeded as team A1.

The top two teams from each pool advance to the Round of 16 knock-out stage, scheduled to begin July 4. Please see the tournament schedule for results, which will be updated as matches are completed. Pool standings will also be updated as matches are completed.
