EDMONTON – A 22-year-old man is dead after the SUV he was in was shot at Monday night.
Police say Sultanbek Abdymamat Uulu passed away in hospital Wednesday morning. He was a passenger in a vehicle which became riddled with bullets in the area of 95 Street and 132 Avenue.
The 22-year-old was one of two men shot that evening. The other, a 48-year-old, was shot during a home invasion about 15 blocks away at 136 Street and 113 Avenue. He is currently in stable condition in hospital.

The two victims were initially treated within metres of one another, though, after the driver of the SUV pulled up to the scene with his wounded passenger, looking for help.
Police do not believe the shootings are connected, and say they do not appear random.
There are still no suspect or vehicle descriptions.
This is Edmonton’s 11th homicide of the year, which is the same amount the city had this time last year.
