One dead and two sent to hospital after vehicle rollover near Yorkton

REGINA – Early Tuesday morning RCMP in Yorkton were called to a report of a suspicious person at a house on York Lake Road.

When police arrived, they determined that the 18-year-old woman had walked to the home after she was involved in a single vehicle rollover.

EMS transported her to hospital where she is in stable condition.

RCMP found a crashed SUV about 1km south of Yorkton and found a 21-year-old woman trapped in the vehicle who was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 17-year-old girl was ejected from the SUV and transported to a hospital in Regina by STARS, where she is in critical but stable condition.

Alcohol and speed are considered factors in the crash.
