SASKATOON – The Saskatoon Valkyries haven’t had too had many blemishes on their record, winning the last three seasons of Western Women’s Canadian Football League (WWCFL).

While the Valkyries are consecutive champions, it was the Regina Riot who gave them their first loss in WWCFL regular play last season.

The two Saskatchewan rival teams were back at it Saturday night at Griffiths Stadium.

The final score was 49-7, as Saskatoon trounced Regina.

A rematch will be held on June 7 in the Queen City.
