SASKATOON – The Saskatoon Valkyries dominated right from the opening whistle.

Their quest for a fourth consecutive league championship started Sunday afternoon at Griffiths Stadium.

The defending champions were up against the Manitoba Fearless.

Running back Julie David had four touchdowns leading the Valkyries to a 55-0 shutout win.

Saskatoon begins the year 1-0 and will host the Regina Riot Saturday night.
