The pair was interviewed by investigators overnight and released Saturday morning. Police say the investigation into Sudds death is ongoing.
Sudds, 24, was found dead in a ditch on Africville Road on Oct. 14 after he was shot. He had last been seen by friends on the afternoon of Oct. 10, 2013.
In April, his death was added to a provincial program that offers rewards for information on major unsolved crimes.
Police announced in March they were searching for a car that was part of the investigation.
