Connector now reopened after accident

Travis Lowe / Global News

KELOWNA – The Okanagan Connector has now fully reopened after an early morning accident involving a semi.

Both eastbound lanes between the Pennask Summit and the Brenda Mine Exit were closed temporarily. One lane reopened a short time later but traffic is now moving on both lanes.

An overnight snowfall on the mountain passes has left parts the Connector with compact snow. The weather contributed to a semi going off the road. No word on any injuries.

Parts of the Coquihalla are also covered in snow while other sections are slushy.
