CALGARY- A man injured during a crash on the Trans-Canada Highway on Wednesday has died.

Around 8:30 a.m., the driver of a Chevrolet Astro Van heading west near 133 St. N.W. lost control.

The van rolled into the median, and the driver was rushed to hospital in serious, life-threatening condition. He passed away on Thursday morning.

The victim is being identified as 63-year-old David Fidler.

Investigators say weather was poor at the time of the crash, which may have contributed to the collision.
