NIPAWIN, Sask. – Codie Prevost and WYATT were the big winners at the 25th Saskatchewan Country Music Association (SCMA) awards.
Codie Prevost won the fan’s choice entertainer of the year, male vocalist of the year and the SCMA achievement award.
It’s the fourth year in a row Prevost has won both the entertainer and male vocalist of the year awards.

Saskatoon-based WYATT took home group of the year, album of the year for Shoulda Been Here Last Night, and video of the year for Jesse James.

Jesse Moskaluke was named female vocalist of the year and picked up the single of the year for Good Lovin’.

Leading the industry awards was Prince Albert’s Rich McFarlane, who won for recording studio of the year and was named to the all star band in both the guitar and specialty categories.
GX94 in Yorkton took home the most silverware on the media side, winning the fan’s choice radio choice award for a secondary market, and music director/morning show host Danny Ismond being named both music director and on-air personality of the year for a secondary market.
