If you’ve been paying attention to the latest election surveys, it will come as no surprise then that the Quebec Liberal Party is set to form the next government, with Philippe Couillard at the helm.

Although we await each new poll with trepidation, leaders are quick to dismiss them, reminding us that polls are but a snapshot of a moment frozen in time.

So perhaps we can look to the skies for a bit of guidance, if not levity.

Francois Legault is a Gemini, born on May 26, 1957.

Whatever that new opportunity may be, Legault will wake up on April 8, feeling wishy-washy; unsure of whether or not to go on with this new relationship.

Meanwhile, Couillard’s horoscope for the same day urges him to be discreet when talking about a certain subject (alliance?) to someone (Legault?).

What of Pauline Marois in all of this? As an Aries, born on March 29 1949, the stars don’t quite seem to align in her favour.

Her horoscope suggests that she keep her arrogance in check and also indicates she may have to make a few concessions come April 8.

“Bury the hatchet,” reads her fortune, and even more apropos: “Generously allow others their religious or political beliefs.”

Regardless of any poll predictions or astrological divination, come this time tomorrow, it will all be old news.
