NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. – A man is recovering in hospital after he was assaulted by several people in North Battleford, Sask.
RCMP say it happened early Wednesday morning at a home in the 1400-block of 111th Street where the man was stabbed in the torso.

He was taken to hospital with what police believe are non-life threatening injuries.
An 18-year-old was arrested during a search of the area by a canine unit.
He remains in custody however no charges have been laid.
Mounties continue to investigate.
