UPDATE: The Coquihalla Highway is now re-open according to DriveBC but motorists are asked to watch for emergency vehicles.
A crash has closed the Coquihalla Highway southbound, 20 km south of Merritt, according to DriveBC.

An assessment is currently underway, but the highway isn’t expected to open until 11:30 a.m. at the earliest.
Detours are available via Hwy 97C to 5A to 3A or Hwy 8 to 1.
