The B.C. Conservatives will spend their second consecutive day campaigning in Surrey, a critical battleground in the provincial election.
The Conservatives say interim leader Lorne Doerkson will be in Surrey to make a policy announcement a day after being in the city to roll out promises for businesses that include eliminating the PST on some equipment.

The region was in the election spotlight in 2024 when Garry Begg won Surrey-Guildford by just 22 votes, securing a one-seat majority in the legislature for the NDP.

A few seats here and the nightmare is over! Let’s go Lorne!
And to think that with just another 22 votes in Surrey and 320 votes here and there in two other ridings these last 2 years of incompetency wouldn’t be a reality.

“B.C. Conservatives”
That’s hilarious!
They need tomake solid in-roads in Surrey. Guildford is where the NDP cheated last election with the post election day vote stuffing over 3 weeks. I can see them trying again. Not that anyone in Surrey or anywhere else needs much convincing as to how bad Eby and the NDP have been over the years.
