REGINA – The City of Regina will announce its decision today on which company will build the city’s new football stadium.
The city has been reviewing bidders since the tender closed last fall.

The stadium project has drawn plenty of criticism and controversy in the years since the provincial government first explored the idea of building a replacement for the aged Mosaic Stadium.
The cost of the project and the financing plan, a hefty portion of which will be paid for by property owners in Regina, and the unexpected change in location left many people feeling like they had been misled by the city.
