TORONTO – A Montreal man faces charges related to protests during last summer’s summit of G20 leaders in Toronto.
Police allege a man in disguise smashed the window of a parked van parked, smashed the window of a jewelry store and stole a lamp from a store last June 26.
Toronto police say members of the G20 investigative team travelled to Montreal on Monday to make the arrest.
Yves Dubeau, 22, is charged with two counts of mischief over $5,000, theft under $5,000 and wearing a disguise with intent.
Dubeau had a court appearance scheduled for Wednesday.
