Another accident on Casorso Road

KELOWNA — Cyclists and pedestrians might want to avoid Casorso Road in Kelowna following a second collision today.

The most recent one happened shortly before noon and involved a cyclist at the intersection of Casorso and Gordon Drive.

According to the driver, the cyclist struck her vehicle while she was proceeding through the intersection.

The cyclist, a woman believed to be in her 40’s,  was taken to hospital with minor injuries. She was not wearing a helmet.

Earlier today, a pedestrian was struck at Casorso Road and KLO Road near Okanagan College.

Police suggested it possible the pedestrian may be charged, but no charges have yet been laid in either collision.
