Fog possible factor in death of pedestrian hit by semi in Moose Jaw

MOOSE JAW, Sask. – A 30-year-old man is dead after being hit by a semi-trailer truck on the Trans-Canada Highway in southern Saskatchewan.

The accident happened overnight near Moose Jaw.

Visibility at the time was reduced by thick fog.

A worker at a nearby gas station says two men came and described seeing a body on the road.

Traffic was diverted through the city when the westbound lane of the highway was blocked off for an investigation.
