Police say she was hit by a van while in the crosswalk at 10th Avenue and 5th Street S.W.

Investigators say the van had a green light at the time, and Pauletto was crossing with a walk signal.

According to police, neither speed nor alcohol were factors in the crash but charges are still being considered.
