MONTREAL – Quebec provincial police are investigating after two corpses were discovered in a home north of Montreal Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the home in the off-island suburb of Terrebonne after receiving a call.
Sûreté du Québec spokesperson, Gino Paré, told Global News that Terrebonne police received a call at around 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
“Two bodies were found,” he said.
“Investigators have just arrived, it is not considered a homicide at this point.”
Authorities have created a security perimeter and cordoned off Pierre-le-Gardeur Boulevard, the street where the house is located.
The home is in a residential neighbourhood in the Lachenaie area of Terrebonne, just off the northeastern tip of the island of Montreal.
