Some excellent work by the Canadians on the last few shots made it look like they might win, but Sweden’s last rock was closer to the button by inches, meaning Sweden got the last point to take the game.

Canada now stands with one victory and two losses in the round robin portion of the tournament. They are seventh in the standings, with six games to go in the round robin.

Earlier Tuesday, the Canadian women’s team decisively defeated the Swedish women 9-3 in eight ends. Their record now stands at 2-0.
