Tony Badger, who owns stores in Saskatoon, Edmonton, and Parksville, B.C., says he got a letter from the agency last week stating his current stock must be disposed of or exported out of Canada.

The CFIA says varieties of products like Irn-Bru and Marmite are legal in Canada if they conform to Canadian requirements under Canada’s Food and Drug Regulations.

Badger says he’s been importing the exact same products since 1997.
