HALIFAX – A 21-year-old man is in police custody following an incident outside a downtown bar.
Around 2 a.m. Thursday, police say a man approached a woman as she left the Stillwell Beer Bar and used a realistic-looking pellet gun to threaten the woman.

Without explanation, the suspect ran away without injuring the woman. He was arrested approximately 15 minutes later near the corners of Blowers and Grafton Streets.
Charges are pending against the suspect, said Staff Sgt. Bill Morris.
