CALGARY – Police say driver error is to blame in a fatal crash on the Trans-Canada Highway on Wednesday.
It happened before 8 a.m. near Range Road 281, just east of Chestermere.
Police say a woman driving an Audi northbound on Range Road 281 trying to cross Trans-Canada when her vehicle was t-boned by an eastbound Dodge truck. She died at the scene.
There were two people in the Dodge truck; a nine-year-old child and a man in his 40’s.

EMS transported both to hospital in stable, non life-threatening condition.
