Police are canvassing a west Vancouver neighbourhood after an early morning fire at a home in the British Properties.
The flames broke out at approximately 1:30 a.m. at a home on Chelsea Close. Due to the home being completely engulfed in flames and too dangerous for firefighters to enter, crews were forced to use a defensive approach by fighting the flames from above.

Firefighters from North Vancouver are also on-site to help.
Police are investigating what caused the fire and although no one was home at the time, it’s the third time in the past couple of years that fire has struck this home.
