Edmonton police make arrest in homicide

Edmonton – A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to the death of a man at a convenience store parking lot.

Randal Gladue has been charged with second degree murder and possession of an offensive weapon for allegedly stabbing and killing 36-year-old Travis Untinen.

The incident happened outside of a Mac’s convenience store near 107 Avenue and 104 Street Tuesday evening.

Untinen was treated on scene before being taken to hospital, where he died.

Witnesses told police a man was stabbed during an altercation with another man.

An autopsy by the Medical Examiner’s Officer confirmed Untinen died from a stab wound.
