Bieber says he’s ‘retiring’ from music

TORONTO — Canadian pop star Justin Bieber hinted Tuesday he’s hanging up his microphone in the new year — at least temporarily.

“After my new album, I’m actually retiring, man,” Bieber told radio station Power 106 in Los Angeles. “I’m retiring.”

But Beliebers don’t need to worry.

The 19-year-old singer later said he only plans on “taking a step out” to grow as an artist.

“I want my music to mature.”

Bieber just finished his Believe world tour  and is set to release a new movie, Believe 3D, in which he reportedly addresses the numerous rumours and allegations about him.

He also has a new collection of music entitled Journals.
