A perimeter was set up around the area with the following boundaries: Kensington Road to the south,  5th Avenue to the north, 10th Street to the east and 14th Street to the west.

Even though the leak has been repaired, ATCO crews must go door-to-door to relight furnaces, stoves and other appliances.

ATCO had advised residents to turn off all fans and furnaces in their homes.
