TORONTO – Crowds gathered at FNB Stadium in Soweto, South Africa to remember the life of Nelson Mandela.

Nearly 100 heads of state and other luminaries also made the trip for the public memorial service.

Speakers included the presidents of Brazil, Namibia and India, as well as tributes from Mandela’s grandchildren.
