A portion of Highway 97 has now reopened after it was shut down for several hours following a multi-vehicle incident Sunday.
According to DriveBC, the highway first shut down around 10:30 a.m. southbound between 48th Avenue and Stickle Road in Vernon.
First responders and crews were on scene tending to the incident.
Traffic has now resumed in the area.
