One person has died and another was critically injured, after a collision in Scarborough Tuesday afternoon.
Toronto police said they received a call for a collision involving two vehicles in the area of Ellesmere Road and Parkington Crescent just after 1:15 p.m.
In an update, police said a 64-year-old man was driving a 2005 beige Honda CRV eastbound on Ellesmere Road and crossed the centre line, striking a 70-year-old woman driving a 2011 white Nissan Rogue heading westbound.

Paramedics said the man and a woman were taken to local hospitals.
In an update, paramedics said the man has died, while the woman remains in critical condition.
Police said they are investigating the collision and are asking residents, businesses and drivers who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident to contact investigators.
