Winnipeg police are investigating a pair of what they call serious collisions that occurred Thursday night, sending two people to hospital in critical condition.
Just before 6 p.m., police say a Winnipeg Transit bus struck a pedestrian near Main Street and Logan Avenue.
Officers say the person didn’t cross at a designated crossing and was taken to hospital in critical condition. Nobody on the bus was hurt.
And just before 5 p.m., two vehicles were involved in a collision at Pembina Highway and Killarney Avenue.
One person was taken to hospital in critical condition, while two others were taken to hospital.
Police say it is too early to determine if any charges will be laid in either collision.
