Shortly after, an alleged drunk driver was pulled over near Leon Avenue and Ellis Street after police noticed a PT Cruiser had an expired plate.

The driver, a 44-year-old woman, refused to provide a breath sample.

Police found a half-empty bottle of wine in the woman’s purse.

A quick check revealed she was already prohibited from driving due to a previous impaired offence.
