DARTS FOR DARCY’S ARC Tournament

Every year a large number of dogs, cats, and smaller animals are abandoned. The few lucky ones are brought to a shelter like D’Arcy’s Animal Rescue Center. D’arcy’s ARC was founded by D’Arcy Johnston a former animal health technician. The ARC officially opened its doors on November of 2001. Prior to that, D’Arcy operated a cat rescue out of his north end home. The ARC has always operated as a non-profit organization. In November of 2004, the ARC received its official charitable status. The operations of Darcy’s ARC are focused on providing shelter, veterinary care, and adoption services for abandoned stray cats and dogs in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Since 2001, over 15000 animals have found permanent homes through the ARC. At any given time, there are over 150 animals awaiting adoption through out St. James and various satellite location, North End thrift stores, and dedicated foster homes. On April 15 2023, we will be hosting the 4th Annual Darts for Darcy’s at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 2, 1613 Logan Avenue. All proceeds will be given to D’arcy’s ARC so they can continue to provide for animals in need. Any donation to our silent auction or monetary amounts will be greatly appreciated.
