1000 Islands Writers Festival – April 27 – 29, 2018
Experience a fabulous weekend of Reading by the River at the 1000 Islands Writers Festival with some of Canada’s favourite authors!
Enjoy up-close and personal events with Festival Patron Terry Fallis; Maureen Jennings; Kelley Armstrong; Barbara Fradkin; Ken Cuthbertson; Marissa Stapley; Katherine Ashenburg; Heather Smith; children’s author Vikki VanSickle; and author/illustrator Matt James.
The festival opens with a celebration of storytelling with Stories l A Matter of Life and Death.
This year’s festival also includes a Songwriters Series with local songwriters Kevin Head, Cliff Edwards and Jenica Rayne.
The festival will host eleven Living Room Sessions, three Writers Workshops, a free Pirate Party Bonanza for families, two meal engagements, two special afternoon events and an evening celebration with Stories and Songs of the River. F
