Join Rabbi Shmuly Hecht of Chabad Okanagan for the Festival of Lights at the Greater Vernon Museum & Archives Thursday December 14th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. The Hanukkah festivities open to everyone include making a Hanukkah craft, enjoying Hanukkah music, and sampling traditional latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts). A special viewing of a giant 6’ Menorah display will take place as well as a free raffle. Traditional Hanukkah gelt will be given to all the children in attendance.
