Vancouver to Disneyland
October 2nd, 2024 marks the 29th Dreams Take Flight where 120 children with social, physical, medical and mental health challenges from all over British Columbia and the Yukon embark on an unforgettable experience for one day to the Magic Kingdom – Disneyland!
Accompanied by volunteers from British Columbia and California, these children will get to fly down on an Airbus A321 graciously donated along with the crew by Air Canada. They’ll spend the whole day in the theme park, forgetting about their worries and embrace making memories that will last a lifetime.

ABOUT DREAMS TAKE FLIGHT
Dreams Take Flight is a 100% volunteer driven registered children’s charity that brings special kids on a whirlwind trip to a magical place.
In 1989, several Air Canada employees in Toronto planned a trip-of-a-lifetime. They flew 70 children with special needs on a DC-9 aircraft to Walt Disney World in Florida. By 1997, the Dreams Take Flight charity had expanded across Canada and there are now eight flights annually, one from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax.
For a very long and exciting day, deserving children live an adventure in a world-renowned theme park in California or Florida. All expenses paid-thanks to our amazing and very generous sponsors and volunteers.
When they land back home, their minds are stretched to new dimensions. They see new possibilities.
