Franca Mignacca is a multi-platform journalist in Quebec City covering provincial politics at the National Assembly for Global Montreal.
She started her career as a journalist covering community news in Kahnawá:ke for The Eastern Door in 2017.
She later went on to work for CBC News for nearly five years, first in Montreal and most recently in Quebec City.
There, she covered everything from local news to court appearances and politics for radio and television, as well as the web desk.
She joined the Global Montreal team in the summer of 2023.
Franca holds a degree in Journalism from Concordia University, with a minor in Film Studies.
