CALGARY – Patrons at a downtown eatery were startled when a car came crashing into the roadside patio on Friday.
It happened just before 6 p.m. at Melrose Café and Bar in the 700 block of 17th Avenue S.W.

Police say the patio was empty at the time, and the driver was okay.
It’s unknown if the driver will face any charges.
